Types of Cone Crushers
Cone crusher types:
- Compound cone crusher (VSC series)
- Spring cone crusher
- Hydraulic cone crusher (single cylinder and multi-cylinder)
- Gyratory crusher
How Cone Crushers Work
A cone crusher operates similarly to a gyratory crusher but has a less steep crushing chamber and a more pronounced parallel zone between crushing zones. Rock is squeezed between an eccentrically gyrating spindle, covered by a wear-resistant mantle, and the enclosing concave hopper, lined with manganese or a bowl liner. As rock enters the top of the cone crusher, it becomes wedged and compressed between the mantle and the bowl liner or concave. Large ore pieces break and descend to a lower position for further crushing. This cycle continues until particles are small enough to pass through the narrow opening at the crusher's bottom.
Advantages of Cone Crushers
Cone crushers are for crushing mid-hard and above mid-hard ores and rocks. Advantages:
- Reliable construction
- High productivity
- Easy adjustment
- Lower operational costs
The spring release system provides overload protection, allowing tramp materials to pass through without damaging the crusher.
Jaw Crushers
We also offer jaw crushers with a crushing ratio of 4-6, producing evenly shaped final products. Jaw crushers crush high hardness, mid hardness, and soft rocks and ores such as slag, construction materials, and marble. For primary crushing in mining, metallurgy, construction, road and railway building, conservation, and chemistry.
Key features of jaw crushers:
- Simple structure and easy maintenance
- Stable performance
- Even final particles and high crushing ratio
Pressure resistance strength under 200Mpa. For primary crushing tasks across a wide range of applications.
